The harbor of this Sydney is something to see and experience. It is really really big with fingers and bays and coves and so you simply must head to the water. We jump about a nice sail boad where Captain Colin takes the helm. Colin is a first class gentleman and we settle in for a relaxing run in Sydney harbor.
The day is a goldilocks beauty - not to hot, not to cold and the mood is set for mellow. The money in this area is ridiculous. Movie stars and IT money lives here as well as new money from China and other lands. Nothing here for under $5 million and there are several $20 and $40 million places. Sydney is an expensive City and we cannot get the math how folks can live her with the price of homes and apartments.
We pass under our bridge and look up to see where we walked and enjoy fantastic views of the Opera House, bridge and the City. Next up is a drive through the high points of the city but first we hit the Sydney Yacht Club for lunch. Must sign in here Mate as not just anyone can pass muster.
We see the back side of some of those harbor homes and out to the point we we see the good old Pacific Ocean. Sadly this area attracts people who choose to end it all by jump from the cliff. Some chap living above the cliff was given an award for watching the area and seeing a person in distress would talk to them, invite into tea and saved many lives. Good day today and we head up to the executive suite for free wine and munchies compliments of our gold status traveling buddies.
What a perfect day on the water ... hope to see it in person one day!
